Mas D'en Porte (new from June 2012) .

We had a really good holiday, thank you & found your properties ideal for our family gathering. We visited Collioure, Carcassonne & Ceret as well as Figueres. We ate twice in the village restaurant and really enjoyed our meals.  We swam in the pools & sat in the sun & generally relaxed. Thanks very much - everyone really enjoyed the week & would recommend

Mrs G, Worcs – Sept 2012

We had a good holiday thank you. We thought the house was fantastic and situated in beautiful countryside.

Because of the age our grandson, we ate in all the time and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Wonderful fridge freezer with ice maker. The Rangemaster was terrific and made me very nostalgic for the one I left behind in our last house!

Mrs W, Derbyshire – August 2012

The holiday was a success and we all enjoyed the farmhouse away from the more commercialised seaside resorts & ports. The hillside location although tough on the cycle legs provided a welcome afternoon breeze during the hotter parts of the day. We probably stayed around the pool & farmhouse house half the total days we were away, swimming, reading, playing games, BBQing and eating lunches in "the cave"; very relaxing.

Mr B, Kent - August 2012

It was a really lovely villa, well equipped in a lovely area of France. As a family we usually go somewhere different each year, but all seemed keen to return to your villa. The WIFI, iced water on tap and the range oven in the kitchen were particularly welcome.

Mr M, Borders - August 2012

Our party was three couples with offspring in their late teens and early twenties - 10 in total. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. The Mas has been renovated to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped. The pool and surrounding area is excellent, with lots of interest for a week or fortnight. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Mas.

Mr A, Belfast – July 2012

We all very much enjoyed our stay at Mas D'en Porte which is a lovely house and very well laid out and equipped. We had never been to this region of France before, but I'm sure we will return one day. We visited Argeles-Sur-Mer, St Cyprien, Collioure, Ceret and Perpignan over the two weeks and liked all of them. We ate in several of the restaurants on your list including Pierranne, which was very good, and La Salamandre, which was excellent.

Mrs D, Lothian - July 2012

Thank you so much for an absolutely fabulous stay at your Mas in Villelongue. Everyone in the party is extremely pleased with this year's vacation and it definitely rates as the best we have had since we started doing this "la grande famille" holidaying.

The house with its facilities and the pool and the surrounding patios with the wonderful atmosphere really met all our expectations. The area in itself was superb and there is no doubt we will visit that part of France again. Most probably next year - as I said - best ever! With the service, hospitality and not to forget the warm friendliness you and your "staff" have met us with, I sincerely hope we can come and stay at the Mas again. All the things we were hoping for met our expectations, and one cannot really hope for more than that! :-))

Mr K, Norway - June 2012

What can we say.....!!! We have had the most fabulous week at Mas D'en Porte, we loved every minute. We were chilled, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous French food and sunshine. Your housekeeper made us very welcome when we arrived on Saturday and then came and checked all was ok during the week - you must be pleased to have someone who is so helpful for your guests.

What a beautiful part of the world and what lovely properties you have! Glad to say we met everyone who was staying in the cottage/farmhouse and we all had a look round each others places :) They are all so individual and charming, and the views are amazing from Mas D'en Porte and the Farmhouse.

Mrs F, Worcestershire – June 2012

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful location we were sure this would be a holiday to remember. The views from the patio to both the back and the front of the property are outstanding. The Mas itself is very spacious and well appointed with all the necessary equipment for easy living. The kitchen is excellent and again has an abundance of cutlery, crockery etc. The pool area is delightful and the electric pool cover is easy to use and is a very sensible safety feature for families with young children who can't swim. The extensive well cared for gardens give a great feeling of real rural living. Lots of very comfortable beds for a good nights sleep. The Mas is within easy walking distance of the local shops, post office, bar and eating places in this charming, traditional little French village. These are limited in number but offer all the necessities. Lots of places to visit nearby and near enough to the seaside to be covenient but far enough away to be away from the crowds. The owner's description is accurate and, if anything, a bit understated. An outstanding place to stay in a wonderful part of France.
